Remembering Geoffrey Miles Moran

 0
It is with a heavy heart that we share the passing of Geoffrey Miles Moran, a cherished member of the InVision Human Services family, who left us on May 9, 2024, at the age of 42. Geoffrey joined our InVision community on June 21, 2017, and quickly made his home in the Phoenixville, PA area, where his kind and gentle soul touched the lives of many.

Geoffrey was born on November 20, 1981, in Philadelphia, PA, and he spent his years cultivating a life filled with love, laughter, and advocacy. He was a passionate individual who loved discussing current events and had a knack for brightening conversations with his lighthearted jokes. “Geoffrey’s special talent was decorating his home with twinkling lights and holiday decorations, creating a warm and festive atmosphere that mirrored his vibrant personality,” said Sarah Kahando, InVision Residential Operations Manager.

The impact Geoffrey had on our community was profound. His presence was a source of joy and inspiration to all who knew him. InVision Behavior Specialist, Gina Ventresca, attended the funeral and burial services and noted how peaceful Geoffrey looked and how deeply he was respected by the staff. She went on to say, “DSPs from all three blocks of our team showed their support by attending the service, speaking in his honor, and serving as pallbearers; a testament to the strong connections Geoffrey had fostered.”

A funeral service was held on May 20, 2024, at the Evoy Funeral Home in North Cape May, NJ, followed by burial at the Cape May County Veterans Cemetery. The service was a touching tribute to Geoffrey's life, filled with heartfelt memories and the presence of those who loved him.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations to St. Jude Children's Hospital, reflecting Geoffrey's generous spirit and his desire to make a positive impact on the world.

Geoffrey will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His memory will continue to light up our lives, just as his sparkling lights brightened his home. We at InVision Human Services are grateful for the time we shared with Geoffrey and will forever hold his spirit in our hearts.

Rest in peace, Geoffrey Miles Moran. Your legacy of kindness, humor, and advocacy will live on.
