Community Supports

InVision Human Services John Mulkerin DSP on community outingWe had the first Christmas together without anyone being in the hospital in [at least five years]. We are so grateful for the much-needed attention you are giving to change our daughter’s life. There was not one minute of any hint of problem. Picture perfect. This could not have happened without the excellent jobs you are doing. – J.H.

InVision’s Community Supports Program provides innovative habilitation and short-term respite services for children and adults. As with all our programs, we do this by customizing supports based entirely upon the needs of the individual and his or her family.

Much more than a ‘sitter service,’ this program provides both community-oriented and interest-based activities – based on what the individual enjoys doing – plus therapeutic services. This combination leads to improved skills and behavioral growth.

InVision believes every Playing_games_with_InVision_Staff.jpgperson we support has a right to be heard regarding the services they receive, so we take a collaborative approach during all stages of development and delivery of every person’s support plan. For more than 20 years, we have worked with people living with the most challenging (and often multiple) disabilities and behaviors, and we understand the importance of changing supports as the person’s goals shift or as the family’s needs change. We will do whatever it takes to ensure that each person and family are satisfied with the services being provided.
