Program Supervisor Position Description

InVision Human Services is an innovative, non-profit human services organization providing customized supports for people with challenging disabilities. We are currently seeking dedicated, enthusiastic Program Supervisors to work in our Residential and Signals Therapeutic programs.

Job Duties Include:

• Provides direction and supervision to residential support staff.
• Manages performance of direct support staff including provision of feedback, development, training, and performance evaluations.
• Interviews and recommends hiring; orients, and schedules all appropriate training of employees involved in providing direct support to people served by InVision.
• Develops and ensures overall satisfaction of individuals supported.
• Ensures adherence to the Individual Support Plan.
• Reviews and verifies financial documents such as payroll, expense forms and petty cash.
• Serves as the primary contact between the organization, funding agents, administrative entities and other team members; including the people supported and their representatives.

Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four year college or university in social services, business, or a related field and 2 years’ experience working with people with intellectual or developmental disabilities OR Associate’s degree and 4 years’ experience working with people with intellectual or developmental disabilities.
• Previous Supervisor experience is strongly preferred.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently
• Excellent decision making, time management and conflict resolution skills
• Extensive local and regional travel throughout Western PA.
• During designated periods, coordinate and provide on-call support.
• Ability to work a rotating shift that requires evenings and weekends.
